Jamie Leach

Jamie Leach played professional hockey for 13 years all over the world. A member of many championship hockey teams including two Stanley Cups with the Pittsburgh Penguins, Jamie continued his career coaching at all different levels. The 2002 MJHL Coach of the Year continues to update his coaching levels and is currently a CHA Advanced Level I coach. Jamie led the Southeast Blades, located on Sagkeeng First Nation, to the MJHL championship final where for the first time in MJHL history two first nation owned teams played for the league title. Jamie has operated numerous hockey schools, skill development camps, evaluation camps, conditioning camps & seminars for differing cultures. As former Director of Hockey Operations for the Powell River Minor Hockey Association, Jamie mentored many coaches, players, and officials, and continues to do so.  Jamie is also a member of the Canadian Professional Golfers Association and the Assistant Professional of the St. Boniface Golf Club in Winnipeg, MB.
