The four day Youth Development Camp will be held at the Center 200 August 22-25, 2010. Along with the on-ice instruction goaltending instruction will be available. Joining Reggie and Jamie, Ryan Smith, the head coach of the Selkirk Steelers of the MJHL, will be on staff for this camp. Ryan adds tons of knowledge, experience, and excitement to the camp. Membertou is one of our favorite communities to visit… especially this year because Rebecca told me that the great restaurant in the Membertou Convention Center will be open!! Huge thanks to Chief Terrence Paul for inviting us back and to Rebecca for putting this camp together… again!! Any questions about the camp please contact me at jamie@shoottoscorehockey.com.

LNHL

Well we spent the week in Sudbury at the 39th Little NHL Tournament. Had a great week watching great hockey and meeting a bunch of new people from many First Nation Communities in Ontario. Reg and I signed autographs, gave away Shoot to Score hockey pencils, raffled off Shoot to Score Jerseys, and talked with many communities regarding our program.

Mike Bolt was there with the Stanley Cup and he was nice enough to let the three generations of our family take a picture. Unfortunately Jaxon, my son, wasn’t too enthused about the process but we got a great keepsake.

All week we had a free raffle for Shoot to Score jerseys. On Tuesday 8 year old Gregory Elijah-Brown from Oneida First Nation was our first winner. Shawnee Penase from Nipissing First Nation won another jersey on Wednesday. Thank you to everyone that put their name in the draw and congratulations to the winners!!

A great big thanks to Grandma Dawn for all the work she put into our information booth. Dawn helped with the brochures, banners, jerseys, business cards, and her input is invaluable. Thanks to all that took information about our program hopefully we can work with your community, if there are any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Please visit the Photo Gallery to view all our photos from Sudbury.

Please visit soon for a huge announcement!
